Pablo Peña is a Director at DIL and an Assistant Instructional Professor at the Kenneth C. Griffin Department of Economics at UChicago. His areas of interest include human capital, applied price theory, and business economics. Previously, he conducted impact evaluations at Microanalitica. He was Chief Economist at Mexico’s National Banking Commission, consulted on antitrust legal conflicts at Chicago Partners, and was a tax policy analyst at Mexico’s treasury. Pablo holds a BA in economics from ITAM (Mexico) and a PhD in economics from the University of Chicago.
