Assistant Professor of Behavioral Science and Economics, Booth School of Business
Joshua Dean researches the interaction of poverty and cognition using primarily randomized controlled trials. Dean’s research has been published in Science and the AEA Papers and Proceedings.
Dean earned a PhD in economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Additionally, he received a BS in economics and a BA mathematics and political science, both from the University of Kansas.
Prior to joining Booth, Dean was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute on Behavior and Inequality.
