Arthur Baker is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Faculty Director at DIL. In this role, he works on research, strategy, and policy outreach. He is also a member of the Accelerating Health Technologies team, for which he was awarded an Emergent Ventures prize. Previously, he was a Research Associate at the Centre for Global Development, where he conducted research on climate finance, aid effectiveness, and aid transparency. He was also the Research Coordinator for Innovations for Poverty Action Sierra Leone, where he managed randomized control trials, including on election debates and incentives for childhood immunization.
