Alexander Lehner is a Postdoctoral Researcher at DIL. He is an applied economist with a passion for statistical programming. His research lies at the intersection of spatial economics and economic development. Prior to moving to Chicago, he obtained his PhD in Economics in Bologna, Italy, at the oldest university in the Western world. During his studies, he was a guest scholar at the University of Chicago (Center for Spatial Data Science), Brown University, and Seoul National University.
